DESCRIPTION: Companies are exposed to fraud risks in a variety of ways, including through the use of vendors, or third-parties. A substantial number of companies report being vulnerable to third-party fraud, and losses due to third-party fraud are frequently measured in the tens of millions of dollars. In this presentation Ramsey Pace, a CPA and experienced fraud investigator, will share some of his experiences from the field and will discuss different types of third-party fraud that he has encountered, warning signs that were missed, and considerations for lowering the risk of third-party fraud.
