    Understanding and Countering the Threat Posed by Cybercrimes to Businesses and You

    Presented by: Scott Bradford, Assistant United States Attorney, District of Oregon

    Bio: Scott Bradford began his career as a federal prosecutor with the U.S. Department of Justice in 2007, when he was hired by the Tax Division through the Attorney General Honors Program to investigate and prosecute tax, white-collar, and money laundering crimes. In 2009, he joined the United States Attorney's Office for the District of Oregon, where he continues to investigate and prosecute white-collar crime. Additionally, he serves as the District of Oregon’s Computer Hacking and Intellectual Property Coordinator and National Security Cyber Specialist, focusing on cybercrime, cyber-enabled crime, and cyber-related national security issues. He also teaches a course on white-collar crime at the University of Oregon School of Law.  Prior to joining the U.S. Department of Justice, he clerked for the Honorable Michael W. Mosman, U.S. District Court, District of Oregon.
